What this page is for
This page sets communication norms so remote collaboration stays clear, respectful, and efficient, aligned with How We Work.
What you should do
- Use public channels by default so context is shared.
- Set response expectations by urgency, not by anxiety.
- Prefer docs for decisions and chat for coordination.
- Prefer Slack for day-to-day communication instead of WhatsApp or other external messaging tools.
- If client work requires external messaging tools, summarize key decisions back into Slack.
- Keep meetings intentional: agenda, owner, decision, next steps.
- Write handoffs that work across time zones.
- Disagree with ideas directly and respectfully; focus on evidence and outcomes.
Who owns or approves it
